Springfield Illinois 1869 - 1927

The Illinois Watch Co produced many fine watches and was the third largest producer of jewelled watches behind Elgin and Waltham.

Their fine quality pocket watches were particularly popular amongst Railroad men including the excellent "Bunn Special" named after one of the company founders - John W Bunn.

Dial Nice clean dial, in fabulous condition, no chips, cracks or hairlines. Lovely blue/black metal Spade hands, with nice seconds sub-dial.

The glass is also in superb condition and is scratch free.

This dial is in near mint condition.

Exceptional 16 size Railroad grade movement.

Serial Number 3,857,092 dates this watch to 1921, the height of Railroad grade watch production.
